Journeys
THE COMMUNITY
Among the core tenets of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany are a dedication to love in action, the building of transformative relationships, and the intentional welcome to all along the faith journey toward a relationship to God.
Toward this end, the community also works toward environmental, racial, gender, LGBTQ+ and economic justice and equity, develops ministries that work toward healing those broken by life circumstances and those living on the margins of society, and creates more opportunities for people to form meaningful relationships through small groups, nurtured friendships and shared meals.

Epiphany also works within the Atlanta community by supporting numerous Community Engagement ministries such as Decatur-area Emergency Services, Hagar House and Emmaus House, as well as Interfaith Engagement, Racial Justice, Feeding Ministry, and Refugee Ministry, among others. The liturgies at Epiphany are supported by the worship guilds: Altar Guild, Flower Guild, Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Vergers, Acolytes, and our all-volunteer Choirs.

Through Epiphany's Earth Guild, Epiphany works in partnership with Trees Atlanta and Save Georgia's Hemlocks to restore and preserve native species, as well as with Georgia Interfaith Power and Light (GIPL) to provide ongoing education about issues pertaining to environmental injustice, earth care, and the climate crisis.
