The Experience
There are many ways to participate in the Bach/Biber Project. For those who join us in person, the muted Sanctuary lighting sets the mood, and participants may choose to either view the performers or to face the altar during each Presentation. This provides an ideal setting for contemplation and/or worship as participants are immersed in this music, and for those in the healing practices, to deepen their contemplative and meditative experience. All presentations are open to the public and free of charge.

While the live music experience is difficult to match, it is possible to view the performances virtually, or after the Presentation, through a recorded link.
These programs are live-streamed on the Epiphany Youtube page. The link to watch Presentations can be found on the Church of the Epiphany home page:

You may also watch each complete, unedited Presentation by the clicking the "Presentation" button below under each presentation, which will also lead you to the Epiphany Site. To just listen to selections of the music, click the "Music" button. Finally, the text for each Presentation can be found by pressing the "Programs" button.
Each Presentation begins with a Solo Bach Partita or Sonata. A scripture reading then introduces the Rosary Sonatas, each of which depict an event in the life of Christ. Following the performance of each sonata is a contemporary reading related to each of these events. There are periods of silence in between that allow for contemplative reflection.

We hope that these community offerings have value to those who seek them. If you are so moved, please consider a donation to help our community reach its environmental caretaking and contemplative practice goals.
